Enjoy running or jogging through London’s beautiful Regents Park and help raise funds for the ACLT charity in memory of Daniel De-Gale.
You asked for another race…and we listened. We ask you to take part in the 10k ‘Marrow’-thon in celebration of Daniel or loved ones and friend who has been affected by leukaemia or any other related blood cancers.
YES YOU CAN!!
B.O. – that’s Barack Obama to you believes the seemingly impossible is possible…and so do we!
Whether you are a beginner looking for your first challenge or more advanced looking for a competitive challenge, we are encouraging people of different abilities, young people, men and women - whether young or more ‘life-experienced’ - to spring into action, challenge yourself and raise money for the ACLT at the same time.
IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN!
We would very much like you to consider joining us... so that we can ultimately benefit the families living with leukaemia and all blood related cancers through the work of the charity. All that we ask is that you each try to raise a minimum of £100 and anything on top of that amount will be a bonus towards the life saving work of the ACLT.
WHAT’S IT ALL FOR?
The ACLT aims to save lives by continuing to recruit blood donors and potential bone marrow donors. By raising much need funds, we plan to set up an independent ACLT Bone Marrow Register. This will allow the charity to undertake worldwide donor searches and match the samples of bone marrow donors to patients in the ACLT ‘Daniel De-Gale’ testing and research laboratories.
Taking part in the ACLT 10K ‘Marrow’-thon would help the charity work towards our ultimate goal to address the urgent need for more donors from Black, Asian and Mixed Race communities.
