TRIBUTE TO KYE CARPENTER-MARK
On behalf of the staff, volunteers, and many families associated with the ACLT, we would like to convey our sadness and condolences to the family of little 3 years old Kye Carpenter-Mark who sadly passed away from complications linked to his brave battle against leukaemia on Saturday 26th November 2011. Our thoughts and prayers are with his parents Laura and Kieran and the extended family and close friends.
A very moving and important message from Kye's mother, Laura Carpenter
"Please don't tell me u know I how I feel UNLESS u have lost a child too. PLEASE don't tell me my broken heart will heal. Because that is just not true... Please don't tell me my sons in a better place. Though it is true. I WANT him here with ME! Don't tell me someday I will hear his voice, see his face. BEYOND today I cannot see.. DON'T tell me to face the fact that he's gone. Because denial is something I can't stop. Don't tell me to be thankful for the time I had. BECAUSE I wanted more...
DON'T tell me when I am back to my old self I will be glad. I will never be as I was before.. What u can tell me is you will be there for me..That u will listen when I talk about KYE u can share with me my precious memories. You can even cry with me for a while. And please don't hesitate to say his name. Because it's something I long to hear everyday. Friends, Family PLEASE REALISE, That I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN BUT.....If u stand by me, You may like the new person I become someday."

"My heart is heavy writing this. We have lost yet another young life to Leukaemia as I learnt the passing of 3yr old Kye-Carpenter-Mark in the early hours. He passed away on Saturday afternoon.
